About Kathy South

Kathy South is the founder of the Reiki Center of Greater Alexandria (RCGA). Her professional background was in Information Technology (IT) as a consultant with 15 years experience. She began exploring energy through the practice of t’ai chi chuan in January 2002. The energy sensing and awareness which began with t'ai chi led her to explore energy work and reiki in 2003. This began a rapid period of spiritual development.

Kathy is a spiritual teacher, healer and medium. She is a Reiki Master in several lineages and is certified as a Medical Intuitive and Quantum Practitioner.

In March 2009, Kathy left the corporate world and dedicated herself to her spiritual path. The Entities of the Casa de Dom Inacio -- where John of God has his spiritual center -- recognized Kathy as a Group Leader and Medium of the Casa. She takes groups on Healing Tours to John of God at the Casa de Dom Inacio in Brazil several times a year.

Kathy lives in Alexandria, VA with her two rescued greyhounds Casey and Twix.
